Now a days we all seem to be rushing from one thing to another, some say it is the times we live in, others say multitasking is the next big thing and most of us do not have a choice?
Well multitasking has always been around, some are better than others but let's talk about red wine and a slower and different approach to enjoying your wine.
Most people people now a days, uncork the wine and start drinking, they insert a rubber or plastic spout and go right to it, most people who approach their wine this why seem to say...hmm the wine doesn't seem to taste as good as I remember? Later in the evening they ponder (while taking a slip of the second glass) that the wine now appears to taste great? So let's try and have some fun, experiment with our wine and try the following tips.
1. When you uncork your bottle of wine (you can try this with some whites as well) let your wine breathe for about 30 minutes then take your first slip and decide how the wine tastes.
2. After letting your wine breathe for 30 minutes, place the red wine in the cooler for about 15 minutes before serving, you find the wine will have a slightly different taste (you may or may not like it).
3. Chill your red wine the same way you chill your white wine, the taste will be totally different than what you expect.
The point here is to experiment, have fun and enjoy your wine in whatever method you discover that produces the taste you most enjoy! At Wine Craft we specialize exclusively in making wine.
